Welcome to SVN!

We are an international membership organization headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida serving professionals who provide supervised visitation and access services to families.
The Supervised Visitation Network was originally founded in 1991 to provide opportunities for networking, sharing of information, and training by and for individuals engaged in this relatively new but rapidly emerging field of service.

In addition to serving as a resource for our members, the Network provides a service to families by linking them to direct service providers and providing resources for parents and children. Some of our goals as an organization include:

To provide professional forums for networking and sharing of information about supervised child access services

To develop and disseminate standards for practice of supervised visitation and exchange services

To maintain a directory of supervised visitation and exchange providers

To collect and make available research relevant to safe child access services

To gather and disseminate training and program materials for child access providers

To provide public education regarding the role and importance of supervised child access programs in the continuum of services for families

To assist parents in locating and utilizing appropriate services

The SVN Forum is a great place to get and give answers. This is how you get access:

1. Enter the Forum here. Anyone can view and read the public section of the forum. To post a new question or reply to an exisiting one in the public forum, just register and you will have access as soon as you verify your registration via the email address you used to register. WHEN YOU REGISTER, PLEASE INCLUDE INFORMATION IN YOUR PROFILE THAT IDENTIFIES YOU EITHER AS A MEMBER, PARENT OR PROVIDER. We are trying to control spam and need to know who is wanting to post to our forum. Thanks

2. If you like to participate in the members only forum after you register, click on the usergroups tabs at the top of the forum and join the members group. Once we confirm that you are an SVN Member, usually within 24 hours, you will be granted access to the members only forum. REMEMBER TO INCLUDE INFOMATION THAT IDENTIFIES YOU AS A MEMBER. We hope that the forum and this web site and our other resources will be useful to you. If there is other information you would like, or other ways we can help you, please let us know.
