Regional Training
SVN is pleased to announce:The Supervised Visitation Network S.A.F.E. Regional Training Series
This intense training program is about:
- SAFETY for all participants
- ACCESS for parents and children
- FAMILIES who need our respect and integrity
- EXCELLENCE in service provision
The S.A.F.E. training series is a Regional Training Program provided by designated SVN Trainers and is formally presented by the SVN home office.
The curriculum for the first series of Regional Trainings will include content from the seven completed modules of the SVN Training Module.
Each training will begin with a brief introduction and overview of the Supervised Visitation Network and the The SVN Standards, The Code of Ethics, SVN Training Requirements,conflict of interest, and confidentiality.
And will be followed by sessions based on the SVN Training Manual:
- Working with Law Enforcement
- Intake
- Domestic Violence
- Documentation
- Intervention
- Code of Ethics
Cost: Two day trainings: $200 for SVN members, $250 for non-Members
All Participants will receive modules from the the SVN Training Manual and a CD with copies of the PowerPoint presentations.
Attendees will receive a Certificate of Attendance and completed participation will meet approximately 16 hours of training requirements as outlined in the SVN Standards.

The Minnesota Chapter has agreed to provide a "Buy one day, Get one day" partial scholarship to ONE attendee per member/ member agency. That member pays only HALF the price for the full two day training.
Extra Value: Attendees that have not yet registered to be MN Chapter members will have their first year chapter membership fee waived ($50 value) upon successful completion of full two day training. MN Chapter membership is only available to SVN members, therefore will require registration in general membership with SVNetwork.net
